Our own Bob Barbera (Fellow of the CFE, Hopkins undergrad and Ph.D., All American in Lacrosse) has written a great book on Minsky Moments in Capitalism–how excesses and crashes tend to be a recurring feature in capitalist economies. Since we are not exactly unbiased is hawking Bob’s book, let us just refer you to New York Times columnist Floyd Norris, who declared Bob’s book one of the six best books of 2009.
